AGENDA FOR AGM 4th FEBRUARY
J Snelling - 27/1/2011

Welcome

Welcome to the new Old Bexleians website and greetings from me as the current Chair of the Association.  I hope you find the new site easy to use and are able to access all the available information.  Those of us who attended or taught at BGS will have very different memories of our time there but I hope that, whether those memories be good or bad, we all share the same sense of having belonged to something that played a large part in shaping the people we have ultimately become.  I believe BGS is still affording its pupils a better start in life than many other educational establishments - do click here and have a look at what is currently going on at the School.

Life is so busy for all of us these days that the web is undoubtedly one of the best ways to stay in touch. Please let us have any updates to your own profile regularly so that we can keep abreast of where everyone is and what they are doing now. Also do make use of our re-styled message board: any messages left will be moderated by the secretary before being posted on the site.  If you are trying to make contact with a former pupil or member of staff and cannot locate them on the year lists, send an email and we will endeavour to locate them from any school/OBA records that are held.

Can I also encourage you to join the 100 Club as this is the only means we have of raising funds to maintain the website.  The club is run on an annual basis and shares can be purchased at the start of each calendar year - see link above.  Now is the time to join - it will help to keep us solvent and potentially win you a prize as well!

I look forward to seeing the site used by as many past pupils/staff as possible.

Happy browsing & best wishes to all!
